Boomkat Product Review:
Fright Records indulges it's Italo fetish after the awesome Gatekeeper record with two well-studied tracks from Antoni Maiovvi. Our protagonist has been crafting proper Italo-electro killers for a few years now, dropping a pair of great albums for Seed in the process. 'Zulawski' is obviously informed by a love of Carpenter, Moroder and co, building cinematic tension with starbursting synth and muscular bassline arpeggiations to enhance your dancefloor stance. 'Flesh For Frank Booth' is a little more slow and sinister with dungeon drums and glassy-scratching synth strings before 'Ghostray' opens with chaotic dissonance and proceeds to venture into Cowley-esque disco-dramatic exuberance. Totally ace.
