Kitsuné: Youth Alcoholic - EP
I feel it my duty to point out the horrific sleeve on this release: in case you hadn't noticed it's a shot of someone lying in their own sick (presumably it's their own anyway) all in luridly high resolution. Once you've got past that, there's a surprisingly addictive slice of pop music to be enjoyed. 'Youth Alcoholic' isn't too far away from the likes of Five Star or Debbie Gibson, such are the '80s-styled chart-friendly melodies, but fortunately it's ok for you to admit to liking it because it's all delivered with a kind of chunky electronic production style that puts Fox N' Wolf in the sort of territory occupied by Uffie or a more juvenile version of fellow Swedish electropoppers The Knife. Ace. Also included are remixes from Onda and Etienne De Crecy.
