Supremely odd and esoteric deep house outta the Hardwax affiliated Workshop label from Even Tuell. Following from his ace track on Workshop 04, Even is afforded a whole platter this time, with three tracks ranging from STL style raw and trippy vibes through to a blindingly dark and sinister cut reminding us stringly of that wicked Kassem Mosse '578' track on Mikrodisko. The two STL styled cuts stick with a thick grinding, bass driven house vibe topped with odd synthlines somewhere between Stephan Laubner and Jamal Moss' further out noodlings, but the winner has to be the final track, a haunting and sleazy jacker with the potential to change the mood of any room it's played in, and for our tuppence, worth the door price alone. Fans of STL, Bodycode, Kassem Mosse, Move D and all that other good stuff need to jump on this!
