Boomkat Product Review:
True to their label's impeccable form, Eat Skull are of the same school of filthy garage pop that brought the world such luminaries as Times New Viking, Sic Alps and No Age (two of those bands being Siltbreeze mainstays). Two minuters like 'Heaven's Stranger', 'Stick To The Formula' and 'Oregon Dreaming' are boundlessly awesome, sporting the most glorious hooks whilst making you feel as if your ears might be aflame. You'll doubtless crave more like these miniature masterpieces but Wild And Inside embraces a thornier mid-section, taking in vicious cassette punk with 'Nuke Mecca' and 'Killed By Rooms' before delving into a psychedelic hinterland for 'Happy Submarine', and stirring up weird spectral balladry on 'Talkin' Bro In The Wall Blues'. So very, very good.
