Boomkat Product Review:
The highly touted Miami younger returns to Funkineven's Apron Records with five ruffcut acid house and ambient diamonds.
A luscious beatless 'Intermission' opens the session before he brings the bang with 'Who's The Licho In Charge Ovaa Here', and a swinging New Jersey treat titled 'Dreamin'. Flipside he gets freakier with the warehouse drums, sentient Roland 303 gibber and unhinged FX treatments of 'Workship These Balls' and tips out on a darker acid noise jam, 'Satan's Daughter Is Back'. Beato's ill sense of timing and feel for the grittiest, nastiest textures combined with the a super effective functionality is incredibly satisfying.
