Boomkat Product Review:
Nervous Horizon’s TVSI morphs into Anunaku for Whities with four cuts of brooding, breaks-driven club gear nodding to Egyptian electro chaabi.
Uptown, the loosely chopped breaks and ragga chat of ‘Temples’ strikes out like Neil Landstrumm sparring with Overmono - the mentasm-like Middle Eastern pipes are a nice touch - before ‘Bronze Age’ weaves in a battery of crisply clanking, resonant electro chaabi percussion swept up in swaggering triplets.
The flipside follows this path with a more pumping variation driven by bolshy kicks and claps until it sounds a little like Jacques Greene’s soft trance.
