Boomkat Product Review:
The solo project of Tim Presley, White Fence is the latest in a seemingly endless line of Woodsist signings to successfully tap into ramshackle '60s influenced pop. Presley manages this better than most too: on the likes of 'Destroy Everything' and 'Slaughter On Sunset Strip' he joins your typical slacker garage charms with some studiously observed '60s songwriting, with the likes of 'I'll Follow You' vaguely bringing to mind Syd Barrett's The Madcap Laughs while 'Who Feels Right?' comes across as more modern in its execution, actually sounding rather a lot like a lo-fi Odelay-era Beck cranking up the levels of psychedelia. Ace.
