Boomkat Product Review:
Crookers starts off this EP with a slightly garish piece of chopped up dance music reworking 'We Are All Prostitutes' by the artist formerly known as Adamski, in collaboration with The Pop Group's Mark Stewart. In fact 'We Are All Prostitutes' is an old track from Stewart's aforementioned former band, and on this release gets dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century with a host of trend-baiting remixes. 'Parasite' ploughs a similar furrow, though is considerably less in your face than the lead track, in that it doesn't hinge around Stewart screaming about "consumer fascism" and the like. Surely that's no way to go about selling something, is it?
