Boomkat Product Review:
Rodelius' 10th solo album is widely considered to be one of his finest. Originally released in 1982, in a sense it's a monument to his former, highly influential, krautrock unit, Cluster, and deeply redolent of the wanderlust which defined his and Dieter Mobius' most definitive early works. This is clear from the motorik pulses of Drummer One machine beats in 'Ruf Aus Der Ferne' to the dub-dappled 'Fenster Im Schnee', but it's the magisterial atmospheres of 'Zwei Sind Eins' or the title track which really transport us back to their most refined cosmic experiments. There's also untouchable material to be found on the rippling electrorhythms of 'Auf Des Tigers Spur' and the strange, quietly alien scapes of 'Kundmachung'. A classic.
