Boomkat Product Review:
**180g vinyl. Edition of 750** At long last Cut Hands spills blood from the 'Black Mamba' album onto vinyl. The CD tracklist has been split in two and supplemented with extra tracks over two vinyl volumes, each housed in cryptic Vévé artwork by Mimsy DeBois. This, 'Volume 3', features four tracks not found on the CD: 'Vaudau Take Me High' opens with a serpentine coda of percussive cadence building to a martial 4/4; the uncanny polymetric patterns and gloaming, precipitous synth drone of 'Immersion' is taken from the 'Damballah' 12" on Blackest Ever Black, as is the haunting 'Krokodilo Theme' - as used on the eponymous Vice TV piece; 'Madwoman' was last heard screeching and seething on Downwards, and reappears here with claws fully out. The album continues thru four more tracks, from the stalking djembes and doundouns of 'Erzulie D'en Tort', to the swaggering gyrations of 'No Spare No Soul' and the shuddering detonations of 'Kongo'.
