Boomkat Product Review:
Geoff White may be better known as a micro house technician but in this (his Ghostly International debut) he reinvents himself as a practitioner of stripped back lush downtempo based acoustic-electronics. Tracks vary from instrumental hiphopscapes, to windswept drones - straight guitar pieces like the wonderful 'Blue Eyed Bitter' and truly ghostly clickbeat ambience. There's a quiet dread to several tracks but that's counterbalanced by the subtlety optimistic beat driven pieces like the killer 'Things Go Wrong'. A superb and eclectic fifteen track album that grows in stature with every listen. Like Dabrye's moodier twin. Highly Recommended.
