Boomkat Product Review:
Pangaea inaugurates his newly minted Hadal label with a rugged three-tracker picking up where his 'Release' doublepack left us off last year. Coming at the whole regurgitative House movement from a different angle, Kev applies robust production flourishes to toughen up proceedings with some obligatory nods to Hardcore thrown in to good effect. "Viaduct" opens the EP with a quasi-industrial flourish, rubbed/distorted drums constructing the framework for a nicely modified synthline before a more technofied palette takes over halfway through, while "Mission Creep" revolves around a proper jittery vocal edit to fine, propulsive effect. "Razz" ends things off on a more inebriated tip, all swirling/tribal drums and 8-bit melodies, immaculately produced. Good stuff.
