Boomkat Product Review:
The scarily prolific Romanian is back with a new 12" for 50 Weapons, building on the peaktime techno potentials of his previous two EPs and Simulat album. 'Vertigo' sounds like a more low-slung Jeff Mills, all sci-fi FX, distorted kicks and huge snare-fill build-ups. The more crisply rendered 'Sommer' makes Cosmin's dubstep heritage clearer, with claps echoing across deep subs and a repeated organ vamp aiming squarely for your 4am sweet-spot. Serious, big-room techno doesn't get much better: play it loud or don't play it at all.
