Exotic dancefloor fruits from Tokyo-based producer Matt Lyne aka A Taut Line, featuring sublime vocals from Hong Kong In The 60s' Mei Yau Kan and remixes by Dominatrix, Royalty, LDFD and BD1982. The lead cut is really lovely, Mei's vocals sailing over woozy melodica, chirruping birds and dubbed out lounge vibes all riding a plump, sub-swung House rhythm. 'Unwoken' is a real Deep House treat, tempered tribal drums, a fat-assed square bassline and gorgeous pads grooving in sweetest harmony, kinda like some more robust DJ Sprinkles cut, while 'She Swims' goes on some crazy back alley cyber-boogie House vibe and 'Luna 99' kicks out a juicy, open-armed House swinger. Remixing 'Don't Wake Me', Dominatrix envision Mei as a melancholy gynoid in an electroid soundscape, while Royalty gives some crooked House version, LDFD gives a killer slowfast mix and BD1982 does his brukked up ghettosoul thing. Highly Recommended!
