Boomkat Product Review:
Project Squared draw a dub-house axis between Bristol and Manchester with four untitled cuts from two respected producers. Manchester's Tom Dicicco drops two contrasting grooves; one a driving 'floor mover with a powerful Chicago-meets-Berlin engine, and the other a heads-down basement groove. Kowton's offerings are slightly slower, more sensuous. There's a tucked-up and bumpy swinger with strong shades of kindred spirit Kassem Mosse, and another more submerged, menacingly noirish prowler.
