Boomkat Product Review:
Second album from the uber-talented Christian Przygodda on the unmistakably fresh Karaoke Kalk imprint. I'm finding it ever so slightly impossible to do justice to this record in print. OK, so there are elements of Kindergarten pop in place here, but the overall effect of this insanely good release is to make you realise just how good pop music can be. Gorgeous songs that span from the nostalgic almost delta-bound acoustic riffs of title track 'Unser' - complete with feelgood factor 10+, to the nightime insect percussion of 'Tobing'. Do not make the mistake of dismissing this as Kitsch - this man is one of the most talented singer songwriters (minus the singing) to have graced our increasingly worn out players. Sublime.
