Boomkat Product Review:
Production duo Mr No and Bryan Black haven't even let a year pass since their debut LP Klunk hit the shelves and already they're onto their second album, complete with lexically dubious title. This stuff is appropriately machine-like, quasi-industrial techno repackaged to become something extremely digestible without having to scrimp on harder-edged moments. 'Re-Format' plays off that signature Alter Ego sound with decent results, whilst '20 Volts Of Steel' dabbles with warehouse acid only to put a silly voice of Rammstein proportions over the top, camping things up no end. There's plenty to get your teeth into here though: check out the delightfully filthy electroid mess that is 'AC 775' and the dystopian retro synth work on 'Night Drive'. Uncredible!
