Boomkat Product Review:
Yeah right, come on we all know by now. This is the fourth collection of insane jazzyness from his Lordlib / from his many aliases that make up the studio band Yesterdays New Quintet. This is some sick sh*t, like intercepted outergalactic transmissions from Saturn with Sun Ra on moog jamming with Herbie Hancock's late sixties funk unit in support. Seven tracks of abstract modality with a warm analogue fuzz via drums, moog, rhodes, organ, synth and other valve poppers. God only knows how Madlib gets his music sounding so fresh while bringing to mind all the finest music from that glorious decade (funky music speaking of course). Usual killer Stones Throw art sleeve. Unmissable.
