Boomkat Product Review:
Ohio's Mike Duncan takes to his bedroom studio for an hour's worth of solitary sludge and drone metal, combining weird and flimsy drums against gurgling torrents of fuzzy slurry. On 'Delirium' Duncan finds his groove with a glacially slow rocker that sounds like its main sound source isn't so much a musical instrument as a digestive complaint. Similarly, 'Narcotic Fog' combines black, echoing metal dynamics with the odd bass ripple of goopy, alimentary timbres, but rest assured, by the time you've made it to penultimate track 'Graveyards' you'll be fully conditioned to this frog chorus of stoner-croak. Recommended.
