Boomkat Product Review:
Riley Reinhold returns with another mix of recent and forthcoming Trapez and Trapez Limited selections. I'm not suggesting he's an egomaniac or anything, but for the second year running, the disc begins with a track by the man himself, namely the unreleased 'Secret History' which builds up an electrostatic potential energy set burst as 'Koala' by Bulent Gurler fires up. SLG's still-fresh 'Earthworm' soon kicks into life, all crunchy snares and bloopy basslines. The quality keeps on coming via Reggy Von Oers' excellent 'Cytric', and not long after, another promising unreleased track - this time from Mihalis Safras, who makes way for full-swing of Aqilina & Venturi's well-produced (but embarrassingly titled) 'Disco Bus' and Alex Under's 'Trapezones Erectos'. In fact, Alex Under features a couple more times in the mix, with new, forthcoming tracks previewed towards the end. Similarly, new tracks abound from Florian Meindl and Roland Dill, who certainly cuts the mustard (you're welcome) on 'Modus Operandy'. Sounds like there's plenty of good stuff around the corner for the Trapez label.
