Boomkat Product Review:
Jerky, gleefully unpleasant hard rock from the load stable, bringing together hugely impressive drumming with a weird array of guitar riffs that seem to borrow from surf-tinged rockabilly as much as they do actual thrash and hardcore. The vocals are delivered with an offputting dispassion throughout, which only serves to heighten the sense of chaos. Occasionally a song will spew up something encroaching upon a chorus, which comes as something of a surprise - particularly on the Interpol-meets-Swans semi-dirge that is 'Rock Candy Mountain'. If at first you find all this a bit of a headache, it's still worth persevering: however weird and irrationally discombobulated the guitars and vocals might get, the often quite phenomenal drumming always manages to hold your interest.
