It’s that 20 year cycle in effect, resurfacing thru the memory foam and loam of 2nd hand record ephemera and dusty shelves in a subtly altered form that feels relatively new because of its distance from the original thing.
Primed for head nodders and night owls, the album follows a mazy course from the shimmering pen-on-water bottle percussion of ’Soak’ to its post-midnight intimacies of heavy breathing loops, dusted drums and lonesome jazz noir in ‘Coroner Kent (Theme)’.
