Boomkat Product Review:
Undermining well-established music industry conventions, andy stott's latest twelve drops a mere 4 weeks before his debut album 'merciless' is released and features two brand new tracks not to be found on the full-length. 'Nervous' is a short, woozy trawl through half-speed house that employs a square bassline with the kind of perfectly spannered force that renders the listener legless - groggy minimal anyone? "She's gone wrong" on the flip is just utterly devastating - pinning down a classic sahko/sleeparchive minimal template before setting about to f*ck with it good and proper. 3 minutes in and the bleep blueprint finds itself squashed inside a low-end plunge that never fully recovers - unfailingly deep, made to measure killer material.
