This guy knows that's the case, after producing a remix of THE piano tune, 'strings of life' a few years back, Mr Tristano returns with the suspiciously similar 'The melody', backed up with an absolutly essential Carl Craig remix for all those techno fans with a closet passion for Liberace. Carl Craig's remix is as usual, pretty faultless. Taking a good few minutes to get warmed up, C2 plays around with just the piano line and a beat before introducing one of those insanely nagging bass riffs and subtle synth elevations that take the track exactly where you need to go, and also leaves a lot of room for manouevre if you get sick of the piano vibes.
