Boomkat Product Review:
Another helping of fizzy, grimy basement-recorded scuzz-pop from mystery Brooklynite The Blank Dog, who's obviously onto a winner with tracks like 'Now Signals', boasting a detuned, '80s themed weirdness that's all too in vogue right now. That said the chorus brings to mind Babylon Zoo in a big way. 'The Other Way' finds success embracing a complete disregard for hitting the correct pitch - or even getting to the right note at the right time in any shape or form. somehow it all hangs together in a respectable fashion, though keen observers of The Internet might wonder where all the Blank Dogs buzz (for a week in september it went crazy) is coming from. Very peculiar and rather impenetrable, though somehow not un-alluring.
