Boomkat Product Review:
Released back in 2004 and finally back in stock. The Sheffield boys had been tirelessly busying themselves with fusing the rampant genres of glitchy electronica and post rock for some time before this release, yet it was here when the world said 'ah yes, it makes sense'. Whether they're tickling their guitar strings lovingly, giving Sigur Ros a run for their money on the crescendo front or aping Venetian Snares' digitized amen break-bore the guys seem to make it all sound as natural as a walk in the park with your pet cat. The title might seem to reference the 'fall' of an ailing genre, but darned if these guys didn't just carry on peddling it anyway. Post rock never went away, it just hid in the closet for a while and then came out later when mummy and daddy had stop arguing.
