Boomkat Product Review:
The label that brought us one of the singles of the year from Altered Natives gives up a bumpy swinger from London-based Japanese producer, Kay Suzuki. We're quite feeling his 'Something To Say' cut featuring occasional Floating Points vocalist Fatima, straddling the kind of kinky house/broken beat riddim associated with Karizma and currently being pushed by the likes of Ben UFO. The Souled remix leans on a heavier Deep House vibe with insistent 4/4 kicks and glutinous subbass. Meanwhile, 'Going Down' on the flip features Colonel Red on a jazzier broken beat tip and Soulparlor's remix gives nods to the likes of Dego or Domu. Currently appearing on the playlists of Gilles Peterson, Benji B and Theo Parrish.
