Boomkat Product Review:
Quite shockingly, in the evenings I often find myself glued to the sofa, unable to move myself from a beery stupor with my eyes held on the television in front of E4... a channel aimed at people like me, or so they keep telling me. Manilla have been kind enough to provide us with an EP this week which mimics this experience almost flawlessly, with a cheesy fusion of the most irritating TV jingles of the last 10 years. There's a bit of plunderphonic business going on, some classy Stock, Hausen and Walkman styled break-interludes, some latin shuffles, and a Tipsy-esque line in blunted beats. Effortless, oddly listenable, disposable music.
