Boomkat Product Review:
OK, OK, So the NME have gushed all over Mr Gonzales, but this is actually super-fat in its proportions! Chilly returns once again with his spannered blend of Hip-Hop, P-Funk and Bow-tied showmanship, kicking off with the killer title track that somehow manages to sound like Prince, Eminem and Prince Paul all at once. 'Return of the Sugar Plum Fairy' steals the show, however, with a semi-electroid, semi-disco tribute to the 'Sugar Plum Fairy' - how very Christmas. One of those tracks to keep people wondering who on earth could have come up with such magic. Awesome. The 3-tracker finishes off with 'Concerto in E-Minor', another borrowed tune and another ludicrious interpretation that almost (I said ALMOST) sounds like Goodiepal. All in all, utterly great stuff.
