Boomkat Product Review:
Breaksy electro-garage swerve from UK mutants D3U5E and Gav, sparking the Programm label into action with four cuts landing in the shadows of Horsepower Productions, Hatcha, Burial
D3U5E covers the front with the sticky 2-step breaks parry and haunted diva vox of ‘Factor’ and some dead classy, syncopated woodblocks and warped garage bass on a vintage El-B flex. Teaming with Gav, they dip to the rolling pressure of ‘Mutant’ recalling foundational Horsepower productions on Tempa from 20 years ago, beside the grimier strings and whirring 2-step trills in ‘Of The Gods’ recalling darkside Hatcha and Kromestar cuts.
