Boomkat Product Review:
A beautiful and very tactile excursion into the outer limits of electroacoustic improvisation form three masters of the art, Strange Love is divided into two long-form pieces exploring high frequency textures with guitar, electronics, environmental recordings and fragments of percussion. Ranging from scratchy, abstract timbres to raw, unconditioned drones the range of sounds is far more otherworldly than the list of instruments might suggest, and it's during glitch-ridden forays into the upper echelons of the sonic spectrum that this album really comes to life, demonstrating a level of physicality that's seldom achieved in such ferociously experimental music. Recommended.
