Boomkat Product Review:
Numbers pays dues to one of their formative influences with a brobdingnagian compilation of Strange Days techno-acid-house bangers from Italy’s Lory D, following from their 12” release of Strange Days Vol.5.
Running to 19 tracks in just under 2 hours, you’ll find all 14 tracks from the 12” releases - including big highlights in the twysted take on a Chi classic, Bass Bam and the febrile cut-up Ostia Girl or the throat-wrecking drip off tang of Acidtronix - along with some proper blasts from the past in the likes of Ghill, Bobby Remix and Mixalo from his 2008 pair of 12”s for Wireblock (a forerunner of Numbers) - we’d actually forgotten how good these are!
No need to hoof on about him, but this guy is one of the G.O.A.T. when it comes to messed up acid freakiness. Fun for all your spannered family.
