Boomkat Product Review:
Raw-to-the-bone NJ deep house classics collected on one plate for the first time! A-side holds the inimitable depth of 'Stomp', a tantalisingly faded house killer modelled on the roots of Jarvis' 1983 co-production with Timmy Regisford as Visual, 'The Music Got Me', but taken somewhere soaked in liquid MDMA vibes. It was only ever issued as an unmastered, 1-sided 12" in 1997 so this pressing is plenty handy. Flipside, they pluck two peaches from Jarvis' 1991 single, 'Classic Tracks', including the timpani-fuelled electro-jazz-funk jack of 'In The Jungle' prepped for dancefloor misbehaviour alongside the singed house soul of 'Piano Track (Ray Piano)' starring some of the kinkiest keys this side of Klaus Wunderlich's sex dungeon.
