Boomkat Product Review:
No-doubt the most sought-after Techno producer of the moment, Redshape returns to Delsin with another shocking 4-track twelve that's as forward-thinking and well-produced as his reputation thus far would suggest - and then some. "Steam" opens the set with a menacing synthline and classic airy-percussion, weighted down by a signature bassline that fills in all the gaps with all the low-end savvy we just can't resist here. "Munch" opens up the flipside and harks back to the classic Delsin sound of years gone by - Motor City techno of the deepest kind with skittering claps and arpegiated synths, padded breakdowns and immense attention to detail. The real killer is saved till last, however, "Plush" offering up a filtered bass-heavy underlay with a slowly-clarifying synth loop and a bouncing percussive line in 4/4 that just kills us - how good is this guy? Mighty stuff.
