Boomkat Product Review:
"Hailing from a small mackerel fishing village in southern Norway, 22 year old Morten Sorensen enjoyed a ten year spell spent in New York whilst his dad worked for the UN's international maritime commission developing a love of dusty old NY disco that was to irrevocably shape his future. On returning to his home country two years ago to find the fires of nu disco burning brightly, Morten set about producing this, his debut EP for TIRK, with Groove Armada's Tom Findlay lending a helping hand on production duties. Lead track 'Start Something' sets off riding a fat, spacey groove, building up with a classic sounding housey riff that takes us into the vocal break, a Chic sample that's going to work big floors and sweaty basements alike with it's exultant, soulful, good time vibe (and it aint 'Good Times' in case you were worrying). 'Visage' is a tight arrpegiated, Italo influenced groover and 'Cyclick' is a gently wonky house number. 'Woo Hoo' goes where many have gone before into the land of Jack -Chicago 88' style to round off what is looks to us like a pretty promising debut from this pan European partnership."
