Boomkat Product Review:
20 minutes of high-tech rave psychedelia from mad German sound scientists Mouse on Mars. Their follow-up to a pair of 2012 albums on Monkeytown and a couple of self-released 2013 sessions sustains peak energy levels from start to finish. 'Bakerman Is Breaking Bad' busts a highly-strung acid electro sound not unlike the Analord himself, whereas 'Cream Theme' dices with melting chromatic chords and tangled Footwork flux in their unique style. The polyphonic, multi-dimensuonal madness of 'Spezmodia' comes off like Happy Hardcore gone 3D, and 'Migmy' puts their own spin on the Jungle/Footwork sound of Om Unit and Fracture with crafty electro torque beside the head-spinning intricacy and untethered electronics of 'I See Dizzy'.
