Boomkat Product Review:
Revelatory compendium of lysergic, grooving psychedelia from Venezuela, including some pretty wild electronic gems.
We’re naturally drawn to those synth-heavy and heavily effected parts, from the fuzzed-up drones and whirligig lead of Araguaney by Vytas Brenner to the uncanny wobble of Angel Rada’s Basheeba -which sounds like something from Chris Carter’s Space Between gone gospel - and the salty proto-techno thump of his Panico A Las 5am, or the fiery fusion disco madness of La Quema De Judas.
We’ll never fail to be amazed at the reams of stuff that lies outta sight and earshot, and this lot is a sterling example.
