Boomkat Product Review:
Under both his secondo and AM/PM alias Radovan Scasascia completely commanded our attention with the awesome run of material between 2003's 'Okay, i've overstood' up to 2006 with the ace 'Maratea'. 'So it goes' eases us back into Scasascia's world with a purposefully downtempo house grinder featuring a massive slug of a bassline, crawling along as if doing battle with a strong oncoming gale but making perfect sense with the rolling percussion shifts and dubbed synthline, drawing immediate parallels with Juju & Jordash or Newworldaquarium's smack-tempo house joints. 'Pellicci' on t'other side harks back to the blissed experimentalism of the now classic 'The ends', taking time to develop a lush and shoe gazing 8 minutes of Fennesz meets Gas style drone house, the drowned bass throb runs like an underground stream beneath dense spectral atmospheres and field recordings making for one of the most beautiful and organic tracks in the Dreck catalogue. Lush.
