Boomkat Product Review:
Supremely tripped-out Detroit house syncopations from the main man Marcellus Pittman.
Nobody wires his joints quite like this guy, as you probably know all very well by now. Sneak Attack is a masterclass in the black art of sequencer magick, eliding lissom synthlines in a copulation of polyrhythmic time signatures that settle in pools of acid before faking left, right with intricate jazz chords and smudged pads. Mind and body messing music at its best.
Random Acts of Insanity is another inimitable display of 313 funk; cartoonishly cute and deadly with a play of squirming synth motifs, lingering chords and grubbing groove that prods and tugs with electroid freakiness.
