Boomkat Product Review:
The Kid returneth with a new album of nitro-fuelled booty rave and electronic dancing gear for his Tigerbeat 6 institution. Since we last heard from Miguel De Pedro on last years 'Kill Soundboy Kill' set he's moved to Berlin and developed a serious thing for kebabs, besides producing this album of scuzzy rave-made clangers. Divided into four movements, and bearing some 17 tracks, it's probably his most ambitious project to date as it incorporates darker electro-pop influences with classic rave tropes and a thorough spanking of mindless booty. The recent single 'Mr Wobble's Nightmare' is included, alongside the Alec Empire alike 'Samhain California', the Neil Landstrumm style multi-dance collisions of 'Getranke Nasty' and ultra raw and nasty Chicagoisms on 'You All Break My Heart'. He's obviously expnaded his scope massively with this album and in the process turned out one of his most listenable and coherent sets to date. Ace.
