Boomkat Product Review:
Pensive, kinetic dub techno from Newcastle/London's Blackhall & Bookless, backed with smart remixes by Virginia and Fred P. The Geordies' debut vinyl presents a muscular, driving sound well skooled in deep house and techno, yielding the adroit swerve and shimmy and cavernous dubbing of 'Kevins Spacey' and the tunnelling, puckered deep techno momentum of 'Morgans Freeman' for the dancers. Flipside, Panorama Bar associate Virginia gives a smoother, synth-licked Detroit house remix of the former, and Fred P turns the latter into a swinging, proggy piece of deep New York house.
