Boomkat Product Review:
New twelve from the Echochord massive, their second in as many months for Kompakt. Taking the lolloping Koln 'shaffel' rocker rhythm, the Metal ones submit to the beat but surrender no quarter when it comes down to their galvanised dub-stepping sound. 'Nepal' gives it steppers, with full on dubby clouds and splashes of Basic Channelised chording: while 'Rujon' sounds like swamp boogie, all rattling and a shaking Bo Diddley style. Actually one of the most convincing excursions on this by now, tried and tested party formula. Rock on!
