Boomkat Product Review:
**UPFRONT EXCLUSIVE!** Dundee's Loops Haunt follows up last weeks massive 7" for Black Acre with the debut release for Glasgow's Electric Eliminators imprint. It's a very promising affair for all fans of skillfully mutilated and beat driven heavy-electronics, recalling a slew of operators from Richard Devine to Autechre and Funkstorung in the agile, intensely programmed rhythmic structures and sheer attention to sonic detail. The malevolent industrial buck of the title track approximates LP5 era Ae with a dynamic elasticity beyond his years, while 'Proton Pack' finds him dismantling dubstep rhythms and reassembling them as an unapologetically white and technofunked creation. Following this, 'Huarache' rocks off spastic contortionist manoeuvres with a seriously punchy finish while the Samoyed remix of 'Dusk Mechanics' provides a blissful respite with floating (near) Funky-compatible rhythms doused in static and majestic synthlines. Sick twelve.
