Boomkat Product Review:
The prolific mask wearer heads out on a darkside mission for Belgium's Music Man label with two Chicago styled grinders in his well honed style. His uncanny knack for timeless melodies and perfect beat application get a good airing on 'Robot', immediately setting the tone with a wandering bass riff and introspective lead line Mr Shape programmes a rough cut jackin' rhythm in his favoured style, calling to mind a hypothetical collaboration between Drexciya and Jamal Moss, i'm pretty sure you'll agree. 'Neon' on the flip is equally dark but just that bit more sophisticated, etching a sub driven slow-house rhythm into the groove with a dull drone of distorted electrical disturbances fizzing in and out of earshot for a black and sexy effect. These are guaranteed floor winners for all you cats who know the good stuff, expect to hear on the best floors near you very soon.
