Boomkat Product Review:
Absolutely impeccable wares from Marko Furstenburg on Mojuba's equally awesome A.R.T.Less imprint. Making no bones about his influences, Furstenberg heads straight out on a Basic Channel tribute mission on 'BBT', with a shockingly deep 8 minutes of super lush and involved deep techno primed for big dancefloor play. Cushioned on a bed of dub techno bass with ultra heavy kicks buried deep within, the track reverberates in finest B.C style within it's own entirely artificial environment, the track is primed for those hours on the dancefloor when time simply doesn't exist. '2006' on the flip takes a slightly more sedate option, dropping the bpm to an M6 style dub tech lurch, ensconced within the same deeply affected and reverberating environments. When you consider that this stuff goes throught the r+d process on some of the finest techno floors in the world, namely the 24 hour techno laboratory that is berghain/panorama bar and the rest of Berlin, the quality is well assured. Sick stuff.
