Boomkat Product Review:
The second in the series of Kammerflimmer Kollektif remix EP's (the first featuring Jan Jelinek and Aoki Takamasa among others) features West Coast glitch-house don Sutekh, Austrian avant-rock pioneers Radian, London’s finest chop-up merchant Secondo and Lump200. As the more discerning among you might already have guessed, the Radian mix is the choice cut here with all the soul and energy you’d expect from such an original act – deep instrumentation and that killer percussion. The Sutekh remix is no let down either, and sees him on great form, a bass heavy shuffler of a track that works a treat. The ever-wonderful Secondo pulls out all the stops again for his reshuffle and does what he does best – chops the funk. The original track is hacked into pieces and reconstructed into a late night sleazy neon banger, top business as usual from one of the best producers around right now.
