Boomkat Product Review:
MIA of Sub Static and Karloff arrives on Areal for two new productions pressed onto red vinyl. Essentially, both tracks are fairly sparsely populated, relying on the sparest of beat frameworks coupled with a particularly defined bass presence for their driving force. A-side 'Don't Catch My Soul' is littered with diced up vocal samples and an odd squawking noise that might be described as Mr Cadbury's Parrot-esque. There are more odd noises populating 'Redriver', which on the whole feels a little more substantial than ts counterpart.
