Boomkat Product Review:
In the hands of Truth the dubstep meme has reached its furthest geographical point. From their base in Christchurch, New Zealand, they deliver a debut album laden with serious dread bass and deeply moody melodies. 'Puppets' is 14 tracks thick with precise, lurching halfstep rhythms in thrall to the original DMZ sound of Coki and Loefah, probably best heard in the sci-fi darkness of 'Lab Rat', the fluctuating double-timed momentum of 'Wicked Vibe Broccoli' and the explosive force of 'Juno'. Fans of Kryptic Minds, Icicle, or '06 rooted dubstep will get a lot of pleasure out of this.
