Boomkat Product Review:
At first listen I thought Clipd Beaks were an odd move for Tigerbeat - noisy powerful synth heavy post punk with a smattering of prog, but the more I think about it the more I realise that it makes perfect sense. Taking cues from Factory records' less commercial output, Clipd Beaks do what they do and do it very well indeed - offending all and sunder on their journey. Opening track 'Nuclear Arab' is a testament to this spirit, I don't think I need to explain the lyrical content. If you like your electro pop served a la wrong, or your post punk with a hearty slice of electronic experimentation, you could do far worse than 'Preyers'.
