Boomkat Product Review:
Showcasing the Pong label's artist roster (those not already represented with their own releases that is), this EP takes a cross section of the sounds we can come to expect from future emissions. First there's Javier Orduna's dangerously generic 'In God We Trust' to soften you up, then M. Ross' more discerning techno glitcher 'High Drive' gets underway, revealing a tad more depth. Ubi's 'Krush is all hiccup ridden and disjointed, but breaks the rigidly 4/4 flow of the EP nicely. Rafa Escuin's more esoteric 'Jupiter's Lament' fires up with some lovely, tactile frequencies, only for Negat to throw the whole thing off course with the odd, spatially out of whack 'otheRplayeR'.
